Drive from
Kathmandu to
Daman. You stay
overnight at
resort in Daman.
Situated at a
height of 2100
m./7500 ft.
above sea level
and a distance
of 80 kms./50
miles, Daman is
known for its
vantage location
in viewing the
Himalayan peaks
such as Mount
Everest,
Annapurna,
Manaslu, Ganesh
Himal, Langtang,
Dorje Lakpa,
Gauri Shankar,
Cho Oyu etc.
There is a view
tower from where
one can have a
panoramic view
of 300 miles of
the Himalayan
range.

Day
03 :
|
Drive from Daman
to Chitwan. You
stay overnight
in Chitwan.
You can enjoy
jungle
activities. The
Royal Chitwan
National Park is
the lush valley
of Chitwan
situated in the
foothills of
Churia ranges
which houses the
first National
Park of the
Kingdom. This
National Park is
famous for its
variety of
wildlife
especially the
Great Indian One
Horned
Rhinoceros and
the elusive
Royal Bengal
Tiger.
At present,
there are seven
Wildlife
Lodges/Camps
operating safari
style lodges
within the park
area and offers
elephant
excursions in
the heart of the
jungle to view
the games.

Day
04 :
|
Full day jungle
activities as
per program. You
stay overnight
in Chitwan.
During your stay
in Chitwan
National Park
you can enjoy
different jungle
activities such
as:
Canoe Trip: You
can enjoy canoe
trip on either
The Rapti River
or The Budhi
Rapti River
which border the
National Park.
You can see two
types of
crocodiles, the
Gharial and
Mugger basking
on the river
bank.
Bird Watching:
For the bird
watchers, it is
Paradise Island
with over 450
species of
exotic birds of
domestic as well
as migratory
birds. Many are
threatened, e.g.
the Great pied
hornbill, Bengal
Florican,
Peregrine
falcon, lesser
adjutant storks,
etc. A bird
watching trip
will be a
memorable
experience.
Jungle Drive: A
tour by four
wheel drive in
the less
distributed
areas of the
park to track
the rarer
species. You
will visit
Ox-bow Lake and
museum of
historic
interest
relating to the
park. However
during this
period we will
visit 20,000
areas which
afford a varied
experience of
birds and
mammals.
Nature Walk: Our
experienced
naturalists will
accompany you to
the more
specialized

Elephant
Breeding Centre:

first Elephant
breeding centre

see baby
elephants

government owned
and its purpose
is to raise the
young elephants,
and to train
them to convey
tourist around
the region.
Village tour:
Excursion in
Tharu village
will grant you
an exhilarating
experience.
Tharus are the
indigenous
inhabitant of
the Terai. We
offer guided
cultural tours
to meet the
people and
experience their
traditional
self-sufficient
way of life.
Cultural
Program: In the
evening you will

opportunity to
be a part of
Tharu folk
dance. The
drummers and
symbolic stick
dancers perform
traditional
movements and
invite guests to
join them in
this rhythmic

Elephant safari:
On elephant back

05 :

three hours. You

Lumbini.

Lumbini. 232 kms/145
miles away from
Kathmandu,
Lumbini is the
birth place of
Lord Buddha. The
broken Ashoka
Pillar, remnants
of old
monastery,
images of
Buddha's mother
Maya Devi, are
still preserved
here.
Lumbini can be
reached by road
from Kathmandu
via Pokhara or
Royal Chitwan
National Park or
by air till
Bhairahawa and
then by road.

07 :

Drive from
Lumbini to Palpa
Tansen. You stay
overnight at
hotel in Tansen.
This day you can
enjoy half day
tour of Palpa
Tansen. Situated
on the slopes of
a hill called
Shreengar Danda,
Tansen is a
bright Himalayan
Town. It is also
the most popular
summer resort of
western Nepal on
account of its
position and
climate. It has
perhaps Nepal's
most far
stretching views
of the country's
chief attraction
- The Himalayas;
from Dhaulagiri
in the west to
Gauri Shanker in
the north east.

Day 08 :
|
Drive from Palpa
to Pokhara. You
stay overnight
at Hotel in
Pokhara.
The rare
combination of
snow clad peaks,
snow fed lakes
and rivers has
helped to make
the Valley of
Pokhara (210
km./131 miles
from Kathmandu)
one of the most
picturesque
natural
attractions in
the Kingdom.
A must for all
visitors to
Pokhara Valley
is the Phewa
Lake. A half day
excursion of the
Pokhara Valley
consists of a
visit to the old
city, new
market, the cap
factory and the
Seti Gorge. For
people with more
time in hand,
can visit the
Begnas and Rupa
Tal or take a 3
hour hike to
Sarangkot or
Hyangja.

Day 09 :
|
Drive from
Pokhara (915 m.)
to Nayapul
(1050m.) by car
which takes one
and half hours
drive. Now you
begin your trek
from Nayapul
(1050m.) to
Tikhedhunga
(1577 m.) via
Birethanti
(1065m.) which
takes about four
and half hours.
After breakfast
at hotel you
could drive by
car or van for
one and half
hours to Nayapul.
Then you start
your trekking.
The first part
of your trek is
easy passing
through numerous
small villages
and settlements.
Afterwards you
could ascend
gently to the
final
destination of
the day. The
majority people
here are Gurung
and their
religion is
Buddhist. They
are engaged in
agricultural
activities,
tourism business
and some in
Gorkha and
Indian
regiments.

Day 10 :
|
Trek from
Tirkhedhunga to
Ghorepani (2675
m.) and it takes
about six hours.
To begin your
trek, you could
ascend steeply
for the early 2
hours and then
ascend gently
passing through
Ulleri (2070m.)
and Banthanti,
Magar villages.
On the way, you
could see good
view of
Machhapuchhre or
Fish Tail
(6997m.),
Huinchuli
(6441m.), and
Annapurna
(7219m.) South.
Now your trail
is quite easier
passing through
forest and
descends gently
up to the final
camp. You could
see some of the
wild life such
as monkey and
various species
of birds.

Day 11 :
|
Trek from
Ghorepani to
Tatopani
(1189m.) which
takes about
seven and half
hours. This day
offers you an
early morning
trip to Poon
Hill (3232m.) to
enjoy the
sunrise view
over Mt.
Dhaulagiri
(8167m.),
Tukuche Peak
(6920m.),
Nilgiri
(6940m.), Varaha
Shikhar
(7847m.), Mt.
Annapurna I
(8091m.),
Annapurna South
(7219m.),
Annapurna III
(7855m.),
Machhapuchhare
(6993m.),
Annapurna IV
(7525m.),
Annapurna II
(7937m.),
Lamjung Himal
(6931m.) and
other numerous
snowcapped
mountain peaks.
After breakfast
you trek from
Ghorepani to
Tatopani. After
descending
through the
rhododendron
forest, fine
vistas open up
we approach
Chitre, with the
Dhaulagiri Range
straight ahead.
The path then
leads through
terraced fields
to Sikha, a
Magar village
clustered on a
ridge. You
continue to
descend,
gradually at
first and then
more steeply to
cross the Ghar
Khola. After a
short climb, we
then cross the
Kali Gandaki on
a large
suspension
bridge and from
here it is only
a short distance
upstream to
Tatopani.
Tatopani takes
its name from
the hot springs
near the river
below the
village. At
Tatopani you can
enjoy the
Natural Hot
Spring Bath.

Day 12 :
|
Trek from
Tatopani to
Ghasa (2013m.)
and it takes
about five
hours.
The followed
route ascends
gently up the
Kali Gandaki
Gorge, the
deepest gorge in
the world,
towards the
village of Dana,
which is
surrounded by
orange groves.
From autumn to
winter, baskets
of these oranges
are offered for
sale to passing
travelers. Just
beyond the small
hamlet of Rupse,
a thundering
waterfall
cascades down
beside the
trail. From
here, the trail
enters the
steepest and
narrowest
section of the
gorge, but the
layered stone
path is
well-constructed
and wide. When
the rock cliffs
end, we descend
to the river
before making
the short climb
back up to Ghasa.
This is the
first Thakali
village we come
across and the
houses here are
all built in the
flat-roofed
Tibetan style.

Day 13 :
|
Trek from Ghasa
to Larjung and
it takes about
six hours.
After two hours
of pleasant
trekking along
the western bank
of Kali Gandaki,
cross Lete Khola
by a wooden
bridge and pass
through Lete
7500 ft. Walk
through the
lovely pine
trees along the
bank of Kalopani
8000 ft and
cross Depa and
proceed towards
Larjung.

Day 14 :
|
Trek from
Larjung to
Jomsom which
takes about six
hours.
After passing
the village of
Khanti 8500 ft
and Tukhuche
8485 ft, you
will reach
Marpha 8760 ft
for the lunch
stop. Pass Syang
9000 ft and the
Jomsom air-strip
to reach the
main Jomsom
village on the
eastern bank of
Kali Gandaki
river. There are
Government
Offices, Police
and military
post, a wireless
station and a
number of local
shops. Your trek
ends here.
|
Day 15 :
|
Day trip to
Kagbeni. You
stay overnight
in Jomsom.
After breakfast
in Jomsom, start
trek by crossing
the Kaligandaki
Bridge and the
trail goes to
Jomsom village.
After walking
about 2 hours on
the Kaligandaki
riverbank along
with the river
flowing on your
left to reach
Ekley Bhatti
village,
followed by the
upward slop to
reach Kagbeni in
an hour. There
is a police
check-post as
well as a post
office. Kagbeni
lies at the bank
side of two
rivers,
Kaligandaki
(flows from
Muktinath) and
Nilgiri (flows
from Mt. Nilgiri).
Finally you trek
same way back to
Jomsom.

Day 16 :
|
Fly back to
Pokhara. You
stay overnight
at hotel in
Pokhara.
In the afternoon
you go for
sightseeing tour
of Pokhara city
& one-hour boat
ride at Phewa
Lake. You stay
overnight at
hotel in Pokhara.

Day 17 :
|
Drive or Fly to
Kathmandu. You
stay overnight
at hotel in
Kathmandu.
In the afternoon
you go for
sightseeing tour
of Kathmandu
city and visit
Swayambhunath.
Known as
Kantipur,
Kathmandu is the
capital of the
Kingdom of
Nepal. Here you
will visit the
temple of the
Living Goddess
who acknowledges
the greetings of
the devotees
from the balcony
of her temple
residence.
Kashtamandap -
the source of
the name
Kathmandu and
supposed to be
made from the
timber of a
single tree and
the Durbar
Square are with
its array of
temples
overlooked by
the Hanuman
Dhoka Palace,
the ancient
place of the
Nepalese
Royalty.
Located
approximately 4
kms./2.5 miles,
Swayambhunath is
said to be 2000
years old. The
Stupa which
forms the main
structure is
composed of a
solid hemisphere
of brick and
earth supporting
a lofty conical
spire capped by
a pinnacle of
copper gilt.
Painted on the
four sided base
of the spire are
the all seeing
eyes of Lord
Buddha. This
hill is a mosaic
of small
Chaityas and
Pagoda temples.

Day 18 :
|
Sightseeing tour
of Pashupatinath
and Boudhnath.
You stay
overnight at
hotel in
Kathmandu.
Situated 5 kms
east of
Kathmandu City,
Pashupatinath
temple is one of
the holiest
temples
dedicated to
Lord Shiva.
Situated amidst
a lush green
natural setting
on the bank of
the sacred
Bagmati river,
the temple built
in pagoda style
has jilted roof
and richly
carved silver
doors. Visitors
will be
permitted to
view the temple
from the east
bank of Bagmati
River, entrance
in the temple
being strictly
forbidden to all
non Hindus.
Pashupatinath is
the centre of
annual
pilgrimage on
the day of
shivaratri which
falls in the
month of
February/March.
Behind the
temple are the
cremation
grounds.
Boudhnath Stupa,
8 kms east of
Kathmandu City,
is one of the
biggest in the
world of its
kind. It stands
with four pairs
of eyes in the
four cardinal
direction
keeping watch
for righteous
behaviour and
human
prosperity. This
Buddhist Stupa
was built by
King Man Deva at
the advice of
the Goddess Mani
Jogini. It is
built on an
octagonal base
inset with
prayer wheels.
The shrine is
ringed by houses
of Lamas or
Buddhist priest.
